Maldives

The Republic of the Maldives also known as necklace of Islands is an independent internationally recognized country that comprises of a series of islands, positioned in the Indian Ocean in the Continent of Asia. Maldives has a   total Area of 90000 km2, Land Area - 298 km2, and Coastline of  644 km. The country has a chain of a total 1190 islands out of which Inhabited Islands are 187. Majority of the people in Maldives are Muslims ruled by a president with a strict government. The economy of Maldives is of upper middle income people dominated by Tourism and fishing. The two seasons that leads Maldives' weather are the dry season connected with the winter, monsoon period which carries strong winds and storms. Tourism Industry contributes to the major share of Maldives foreign currency earnings. The official and common language is Dhivehi and English is used widely in trade and progressively in education. National Museum, Islands of Male, Hulhumale, Maafushi Island, Thulusdhoo, Rasdhoo Island, are fascinating places of visit. The traditional music and dance form is Boduberu, implicating a big drum. The main diet consists of fish and rice which includes dishes like fried fish, fish curry and fish soup. Arecanut with betel leaf and lime is consumed after dinner.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka an island country in South Asia near south-east India  is a republic and a unitary state governed by a presidential system. Majority of the people are Sinhalese, it is provides home for  large groups of Sri Lankan and Indian Tamils, Moors, Burghers, Malays, Kaffirs and the aboriginal Vedda. Sri Lanka is one of 25 biodiversity hotspots in the world. Even after being a very small country it has the highest biodiversity density in Asia. The country has 24 affirmed wildlife reserves, which are home to a wide range of native species such as Asian elephants, leopards, sloth bears, the unique small loris, a variety of deer, the purple-faced langur, the endangered wild boar, porcupines and Indian pangolins. The main religions in this region are Buddhism and Hinduism. The cuisine includes mainly  rice and curry, wattalapam (a rich pudding of Malay origin made of coconut milk, jaggery, cashew nuts, eggs, and spices including cinnamon and nutmeg). Jackfruit may occasionally substitute rice served traditionally on a plantain leaf or lotus leaf. The major three dance forms of the country are the Kandyan dances, low country dances and Sabaragamuwa dances. The country had the most literate population among the developing countries.

Europe

Europe is a continent that comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia. Europe is the world's second-smallest continent by surface area. Europe has a wild wealth of charms.  Athens, the Renaissance art of Florence, the elegant waterways of Venice, the magnificence of Paris,  London’s Buckingham Palace, Charles Bridge in Prague , Moorish palaces in Andalucía, the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the World in Turkey, Imperial palaces in Russia’s, former capital St Petersburg and the ongoing project of Gaudí's La Sagrada Família in Barcelona and much more. The largest religion in Europe is Christianity.

The Middle East

The Middle East  also known as the Mid-East comprises of Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen providing  home to the Arabs, Azeris, Kurds, Persians, and Turks. Other groups in this region are Armenians, Assyrians, Circassians, Copts, Druze, Jews, Maronites, Somalis, and other denominations form significant minorities. Islam is the largest religion in the Middle East, but other faiths that are well represented are Judaism and Christianity. Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Berber, and Kurdish are the major languages in this region. There are major cities and destinations in the region some of which are, Tehran - A cosmopolitan city, with museums, parks, restaurants and warm friendly people, also great Iranian food, Amman / Beirut - metropolitan City, Dubai — most modern and progressive emirate in the United Arab Emirates, developing at an unbelievable pace, Jerusalem — containing the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old City, this city is sacred for Jews, Christians and Muslims. Mecca — forbidden for non-Muslims to enter, this is the holiest city in Islam mostly known for the Hajj. Dead Sea, Empty Quarter, Sea of Galilee, Herodium, Petra and Samarra are some among the other important destinations in this region. We can come across two kinds of cuisine such as Mediterranean and desert. Mediterranean-the healthiest ways of cooking considered in the world with olive oil heavily used. Different meats and fried fish are very common, and green vegetable are heavily used.  Desert- often comes with chicken and rice. The use of aromatic herbs, spices and chilli makes it very particular, and sometimes absolutely delicious.  When it comes to meat, chicken, goat and lamb are widely used, were as Beef is not so extensively represented, Pork is prohibited in Islam and Judaism.
