Kochi /Guruvayoor /Kalady/Chottanikkara
This three-day package includes most of the must-visit sacred places in Kerala. This package can be called as a spiritual journey, that starts from the historic city of Kochi. After that, you will be heading to Guruvayoor. The Sree Krishna temple at Guruvayoor is one of the architectural wonders in Kerala. Thousands of pilgrims visit this beautiful red-roofed, centuries-old temple every day. After the Darshan on the second day, you will be taken to Kalady the land of Adi Sankaracharya. This place has gained popularity among the pilgrims. One can visit Kalady at any time irrespective of the climate. The expedition continues to Chottanikkara which has a rich history and famous for the Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple. The temple worships Mother Goddess Lakshmi Devi. On the final day, you will be taken back to Kochi to explore more of her.
Day 1 - Kochi to Guruvayoor
Pickup from Ernakulam drive to Guruvayoor .On arrival check-in to the hotel .Gurvayoor the one of the most sacred and important pilgrim centres of Kerala. Its main attraction is the Sree Krishna Temple, considered the Dwaraka of the South. This historic temple is shrouded in mystery. According to belief, the temple is the creation of Guru, the preceptor of the Gods, and Vayu, God of the winds ..After darshan overnight at hotel
Day 2 - Guruvayoor to Kochi ,Chottanikkara temple visit
Early morning after darsan back to the hotel for breakfast later check-out from the hotel drive to Kochi on the way visit Kalady birthplace of Adi Sankaracharya, the great Advaita philosopher. popular destination for Hindu pilgrims.On arrival at Kochi check-in at the hotel.Later drive to chottanikkara temple Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple is one of the most celebrated hindu shrines of Kerala. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees of the goddess visit here and make their reverential offerings to redeem them of their afflictions. A visit to the temple brings relief to them from the overburdening anguish and agonies of material life the Divine Mother known as Rajarajeswari (Adiparasakthi) is worshipped here in three forms Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at noon and Durga in the evening. There is an Idol of Mahavishnu on the same pedestal and so the Deity is called Ammenarayana, Devinarayana, Lakshminarayana and Bhadrenarayana also. Along with Lakshmi & Narayana there are idols of Brahma, Siva, Ganapathi (Ganesh), Subramanya and Sastha on the same pedestal.After darshan back to Kochi .Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Kochi sightseeing and Departure
After breakfast if time permits sightseeing of Kochi Places of interest: Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Dutch palace(closed on Fridays),Jewish Synagogue(closed on Fridays and Saturdays) and you can also stroll through the fragrance streets of the spice market etc.Later drop at Kochi International Airport /Railway station for your onward journey.
