Kochi /Kumbalanghi / Marari/Alleppey Houseboat
The trip starts from Kochi, the city of art, and then heads to Kumbalangi. Kumbalangi is the first model tourism village in India. Being a suburb of Kochi, Kumbalangi has the most beautiful parts. The backwaters surrounding Kumbalangi only adds charm to it. The Chinese nets that encircle here and there in this village is a sight worth to see. On the second day the trip proceeds to Marari. Marari has one of the best beaches in Kerala. The untying fishing nets and serene atmosphere throughout the day are few of the specialty of this beach. The long shoreline and clean surroundings make this place travel-friendly. Alleppey is the third destination of this 4-day package. It's a beautiful place with lagoons, canals and backwaters. You can cruise through the backwaters in a houseboat. It will be a wonderful experience for you. On the final day of the trip, you will be dropped at Kochi.
Day 1- Kochi to Kumbalanghi
Drive to Kumbalanghi check-in at a home stay Kumbalanghi an island-village (India's first model Tourism Village) has a natural scenic beauty. surrounded by backwaters. A ring of Chinese fishing nets literally encircle the island –village bearing witness to the rich aquatic life. An array of mangroves separate land from water providing a breeding ground for prawns, crabs, oysters and small fishes.Here you can have a wonderful journey on country boat through the backwaters covering an auspicious view of mangrove forest .Overnight at the home stay.
Day 2- Kumbalanghi to Marari
Morning visit fish auction centre where the local fisherman will come with their fresh catch and you can watch auction.Later after breakfast drive to Marari check-in to a resort . Marari beach in Kerala is endless with golden sands and coconut palm trees. Marari originates from 'Mararikulum', a local fishing village on the Arabian Sea coast. The calmness and serenity of Kerala Marari beach take tourists backwards in time. Overnight at the resort.
Day 3- Marari to Alleppey Houseboat
After breakfast drive to Alleppey guests can check- in at houseboat at 12:00 hrs from Aleppey they will welcome you and start cruise, relax and enjoy the canals ,rivers and backwater. The boat will anchor at 6:00 PM as per the laws of the Government of Kerala. Evening enjoy your dinner and leave all worlds behind you and have a good sleep in your floating paradise
Day 4- Departure
After breakfast check-out at 9AM in Alleppey,Drive to Kochi if time permits shopping at Kochi drop at Kochi International Airport /Railway station for your onward journey
