Kochi / Thekkady/Kumarakom /Alleppey / Kovalam
This package contains the most sensational places of Kerala. Kochi is the starting point of the trip. Kochi is the financial, commercial and industrial capital of Kerala. This place gives a glimpse of its culture and beauty through its enchantment. On the second day of the trip, you will be taken to Thekkady, which has one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in India. This place is precious for its variety of flora and fauna. Not only you can enjoy its beauty, but many exciting activities also await you there. On the next day, the trip takes a turn to Kumarakom. Kumarakom conjures merely images of the Vembanadu Lake and beautiful migratory birds in travelers' minds. You will spend the day sighting the birds in the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. On the fourth day, the journey continues to Alleppey, known as Venice of the East. Alleppey is one of the glorious destinations in Kerala. The backwaters of Alleppey is home to a diverse range of birds and animals. You will spend the day cruising in a houseboat through the backwaters of Alleppey. The expedition continues to Kovalam. The serene Kovalam Beach is best at its peak for swimming, surfing and sunbathing. The journey ends with your departure to Kochi on the 6th day.
Day 01
Kochi Arrival
Arrival at Koch International Airport /Railway station check-in to the hotel. Kochi /Cochin,the Queen of the Arabian Sea is believed to be the finest natural harbour in the world.local sightseeing of Kochi places of interest: Chinese fishing nets, St Francise church, Dutch palace(closed on fridays),Jewish Synagogue(closed on fridays and Saturdays) and you can also stroll through the fragrance streets of the spice market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02
Kochi to Thekkady
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and proceed to Thekkady , On arrival at check- in to hotel Thekkady is blessed with dense green forests, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grasslands; The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Interesting activities in Thekkady: Spice plantation visit,Elephant ride,Bamboo rafting, Boating , Nature walk, Border hiking, etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03
Thekkady to Kumarakom
After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom,.On arrival check-in to the hotel.Kumarakom,A scenic bunch of islands clustered around the vembanadu lake .Visit Kumarakom bird sanctury which is the famous tourist attraction . Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04
Kumarakom to Alleppey houseboat
After break fast drive to Alleppey .The guests can check- in at houseboat at 12:00 hrs from Alleppey they will welcome you and start cruise relax and enjoy the canals and rivers and backwater. The boat will anchor at 6:00 PM as per the laws of the Government of Kerala. Evening enjoy your dinner and leave all worlds behind you and have a good sleep in your floating paradise.
Day 05
Alleppey to Kovalam
After breakfast check out at 9:30 AM in Alleppey end of services in houseboat and drive to Kovalam check-in at the hotel ..Kovalam beach is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent three crescent shaped beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for Swimming, Surfing, Sun bathing etc.enjoy at Kovalam.Overnight at the hotel.
