Kochi /Kumbalanghi / Munnar
This 4-day package is specially meant for people who are stricken with wanderlusts. The trip starts from
Kochi heading to the mysteriously beautiful Kumbalangi, a small village. This model fishing village has a
great aquatic culture. The Chinese nets and the fishing activities will find a spot in your hearts. You will
spend the first day of the trip at Kumbalangi. The journey continues to Munnar, where you will find
solace in the presence of the hill stations. Despite the picturesque natural scenery and pleasant climate,
Munnar is a place where you can explore varied species of flora and fauna. You will spend the third day
sightseeing Munnar. Making your way through the forests, hills, and waterfalls, you will return to Kochi
on the fourth day of the trip. It will be surely an exhilarating experience for you.
Day 1- Kochi to Kumbalanghi
Drive to Kumbalanghi check-in at a home stay Kumbalanghi an island-village (India's first model Tourism Village) has a natural scenic beauty. surrounded by backwaters. A ring of Chinese fishing nets literally encircle the island –village bearing witness to the rich aquatic life. An array of mangroves separate land from water providing a breeding ground for prawns, crabs, oysters and small fishes.Here you can have a wonderful journey on country boats through the backwaters covering an auspicious view of mangrove forest .Overnight at the home stay.
Day 2- Kumbalanghi to Munnar
Morning visit fish auction centre where the local fisherman will come with their fresh catch and you can watch auction.Later after breakfast drive to Munnar is such a beautiful place in Kerala, which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas. Everything and anything here will make us excited. The hills, the mist, the valleys, the streams, the waterfalls, tea plantations, rare flora and fauna on arrival check-in to the hotel .Overnight stay at hotel
Day 3- Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast sightseeing of Munnar- Places of Interest - Eravikulam National Park,Mattupatty Dam, Kundala lake ,Echo point etc.Overnight at Munnar.
Day 4- Departure
After breakfast drive to Kochi and drop at Kochi International Airport /Railway station for your onward journey.
