Tourist Visa on Arrival enabled with Electronic Travel Authorization has been announced for Foreign Tourists coming to Kochi and Trivandrum from 43 countries which includes Australia, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, UAE & USA for a short stay of 30 days. The other countries apart from the above are Brazil, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Djibouti, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Finland, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Kingdom of Tongo, Laos, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Mexico, Myanmar, Niue, Oman, Palestine, Papua & New Guinea, Philippines, Republic of Kiribati, Republic of Korea (i.e. South Korea), Republic of Marshall Islands, Republic of Nauru, Republic of Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Ukraine & Vietnam.

Kerala is the only state in India where two airports, having the Tourist Visa on Arrival enabled with Electronic Travel Authorization.

Kerala has welcomed three religions into India through its ancient port Muziris and Pattanam, now called Kodungallur. The foremost Jewish settlements in the country were in Kerala established in 961 BC during the time of King Solomon then the ruler of Israel.
