Kochi / Munnar / Thekkady / Alleppey / Kovalam
Here is an incredible 5-day tour package for you. It includes best-selected spots of Kerala. The starting point of this journey is Kochi. The city has gained popularity among the people of every age for its breathtaking cosmopolitan beauty blended with the natural sceneries. You will spend the first day exploring Kochi and continue your expedition to Munnar. The misty climate, tea plantations, waterfalls, and hills define the beauty of Munnar. You have a lot to see in Munnar including the Echo point, Kundala Lake, Mattuppetty dam, etc. The trip continues to Thekkady, rich with the dense forests and varied species of flora and fauna. The most exciting activities await you at Thekkady. On the third day, the trip takes you to Alleppey. Alleppey is known for its tranquil backwaters. You can enjoy the serenity of this place by cruising through the backwaters in the houseboat. Kovalam is the next destination, which is best known for its most fascinating beach. You will spend the fourth day sightseeing the enchanting beauty of Kovalam. This package offers you a golden opportunity to experience the grace of Kerala, the god's own country. On the final day, the trip ends with your departure to Kochi.
Day 01 - Kochi Arrival
Arrival at Kochi International Airport/ Railway/ Bus Station, our cab will be waiting for your pickup. Sightseeing of Kochi Places of interests: Chinese fishing nets, St Francise Church, Dutch palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue(closed on Fridays & Saturdays) and you can stroll through the fragrance streets of the spice market etc. Later proceed to Munnar on arrival check into the hotel.. Home to rolling hills and grassy greenery, Munnar is one of the sought-after tourist destination in the country. Visit Tea Museum.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 - Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast,Sightseeing of munnar Places of interest --Eco point, Kundala lake, Mattupatty dam etc. After sightseeing,proceed to Thekkady on arrival check-in at the hotel, Thekkady is blessed with dense green forests, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grasslands; Tiger reserve, Thekkady, with its bountiful treasures of tropical plants and fauna is the last reservoir of many an endangered species and a wealthy tribal subculture. Visit Periyar wild life Sanctuary. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Interesting activities in Thekkady: Spice plantation visit,Elephant ride,Bamboo rafting, Boating , Nature walk, Border hiking etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 - Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey known as "Venice of the East" on reaching Alleppey, check into the houseboat by 12pm for a cruise to devour the beauty of Vembanadu Lake. Glide along the narrow canals laced by the infinite greenery imparted by coconut to palms watch the gentle and soothing greenery of paddy fields and the village folk at work. Delicious Kerala recipe will be served in the houseboat. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 04 - Alleppey to Kovalam
Arise to the watery world, check-out from the houseboat around 9AM at Alleppey and proceed to Kovalam. On arrival check-in to hotel spend the rest of the day at this palm fringed beach. Overnight at hotel. .
Day 05 - Departure
Enjoy the breakfast. Later pack your baggage and then proceed on time to Trivandrum International Airport/Railway Station.
